Is it me or do we have to take a moment to breathe, settle down, and actually appreciate the word, kindness and what it means? I’ve been uber busy working on the opening of Hello, and although it seems like the list will never end, I found myself thinking, “oh gosh, I hope I wasn’t rude to that guy,” or “did he take my meaning wrong?” so I thought, I better stop and slow down before I offend people and show some kindness. Larry J. Woolf is my morality check go to – I’d like to share his words about: Kindness.
Kindness, a very interesting and important subject. A more important subject than; “How to change the world,” or how to change someone else. The best thing we can do is to make sure we as individuals do one thing well. That one thing would or should be to show kindness with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Show kindness to everyone no matter if they are a friend or foe or someone we don’t really care for. Kindness to everyone can change the world or at least make it a better place.
A quote from Leo Tolstoy: The kinder and more intelligent a person is, the more kindness he can find in other people. Kindness enriches our life; with kindness mysterious things become clear, difficult things become easy and dull things become cheerful.
